Our History
Established in 1989, First Midwest Securities, Inc. (FMSI) began as a retail broker/dealer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. By 1990, FMSI grew to be a full-service broker/dealer and added representatives in the surrounding suburbs, as well as Madison and Chicago, Illinois. A major expansion process was undertaken in December 2001 to accommodate the growing needs of the ‘independent’ investment consultant, and due to this expansion, the corporate office was relocated to Bloomington, Illinois.

New alliances were formed, a nationwide fixed-income desk was added, and management re-aligned to continue our commitment of customer service to our clients and representatives. FMSI has continued expanding throughout the continental United States and now services branch offices in Italy and the Virgin Islands.
